The financial support George Street Playhouse receives from individuals, corporations, foundations and government is an essential part of creating World-Class Theatre in New Jersey™.

As a non-profit organization, these gifts underwrite half of the Playhouse's operating budget, enabling us to produce a mainstage season that is hailed as being "Better than on Broadway" by leading papers such as The Star Ledger, while keeping ticket prices at less than half of the cost of a Broadway show. Contributions and Sponsorships are vital to George Street Playhouse's role in the development of new works for the American stage and make it possible for GSP to offer first-class, issue-oriented educational theatre, touching the lives of over 80,000 students annually.
